The Photo Shoot

Here are some of the pictures from the holiday card photo shoot. Lily was a trouper as I dragged her around the Navy Memorial and the Archives. She was rewarded with an Imax movie and ice cream. The winning photo is at the upper right of the blog.

More Awesome Lily Style

Purse courtesy of Grandma Fran.
Pink combat boots courtesy of Walmart. I bought myself a pair in electric green because Lily wanted us to match. And now, two weeks later, she's declared she doesn't like them anymore! Anyone need some plastic, uncomfortable combat boots, size 8 1/2?

Scooter Girl

My parents gave Lily a Razor for Christmas. She quickly pronounced it her favorite present. Herewith the inaugural scoot. The best thing about this series of photos is the changing expression on my Dad's face in the background.

Christmas in Florida

Nothing like leaving 20 inches of snow behind and driving to sunny Florida for Christmas. Thanks Mom, Dad, and Lee for a wonderful visit.

Mom on the grounds of the beautiful new condo.

The actress getting "hit" on the head by a falling coconut.

Christmas Eve dinner - turducken. A turkey breast stuffed with a chicken breast stuffed with a duck breast stuffed with Cajun sausage. It was pretty good.

The loot.

Michael obsessed with his Christmas present, an iPod Touch.

Lily got binoculars . . .

. . . and a make your own ring kit.
We had a great Christmas, and, as Lily said, "I wanted to stay for 15 more days."

Merry Christmas to Us!

The Demon Beep is gone! For the past 16 months, we've had an unwelcome house guest - a mystery beep coming from somewhere deep inside the walls. Every 35 seconds, it beeped its mocking, taunting metallic chirp. That's 403,201 shrill little tweets. It went out fighting - 24 hours of strangled whining, and then - nothing. Silence. Sweet silence.

Here's the original post.
