It was a Holly, Jolly Christmas!

Christmas Eve. A note and a nice fruit and cheese plate for Santa. Plus "dry cereal" for the reindeer.

Christmas Day.

Lily and Dora, ready to go.

Don.

Alejandro, who is even cuter and sweeter in person.

Claire and Jim.

Christine. The food was fantastic.

Kurt.

John.

Lily really liked Ethan and Brandon.

Duck Soup!

Lily really likes her Christmas present from Aunt Lee! (We saw these in a toy store while at the beach house, and Aunt Lee bought Lily one duck then . . . but now . . .)

Pushing Daisies

This is awesome! Cousin Katelyn had a summer internship at ABC, and designed posters for the new show Pushing Daisies. Here she is in Manhattan with one of them. Cool poster, even cooler achievement!

Holiday Party

We had a holiday party at work today, and the daycare kids came.

Lily is very proud of her red Christmas dress.

Check out that body language. Did Santa have bad breath?

They actually sang their songs! Lily belted 'em out.

Leaves

Raking leaves is a lot more fun when you have a kid to jump in them.

Exclawhat?

Bath Time

In my quest to get a good Christmas card photo, I tortured Lily with a photo session this weekend. She has a tendency to run when she sees the camera, so I bribed her with chocolate if she cooperated. She mostly did, but I discovered we didn't have any Halloween chocolate left! A half a Slimfast bar did the trick.

None of these pictures made the Christmas card, but I thought I'd share anyway.

Lily's New Bike

Grandma Joann and Papa brought a new bike for Lily - a two wheeler (with training wheels). It only took her about 5 minutes to get the hang of it (and 6 minutes to put a scratch in Papa's van door). Thanks (and sorry)!
