A Day on the Mall

Lily really loves the Metro.

As well as the mink at the Museum of Natural History. But she wouldn't touch the live giant hissing Madagascar cockroach.

Daddy and Lily both were amazed at the big elephant in the rotunda.

My little monkey.

I love this sculpture.

Hey, that's the National Archives.

We've been meaning to show you Lily's blue toes.

Who doesn't love SnoCones?

Love that monkey! Was that mink alive or stuffed? Sounds like a fun day. I want a sno-cone.

The mink was stuffed! And the sno-cone was kind of tasteless, sadly.

Lydia said: I love that eraser sculpture, too - that was always one of my favorites.

I like the picture of the macho heroes fortification.

I am glad she didn't touch the giant cockroach - ewww....

Lily is so very pretty.

How dare you call Mike an Elephant! Or did I miss something. Great pictures, I love the previous post, very cool.

Do you think the Portrait Gallery would accept a gigantic picture of Ellie? I'm sure Ken could take one for them....
Ellie's Mom :-)
