A Day on the Mall

Lily really loves the Metro.

As well as the mink at the Museum of Natural History. But she wouldn't touch the live giant hissing Madagascar cockroach.

Museum

We've been meaning to go to the Portrait Gallery, but haven't gotten around to it. So I brought the museums to us.

The Basement

Our basement remodel is done . . . almost. Just need a few finishing touches, like carpet on the stairs and some missing doors. We've gone from a junk-filled dungeon to a big den and playroom, office for Mike, laundry room, and bathroom. Can't wait to start using it!

Not so fast

Just after I posted the last entry saying there were no new photographs this weekend, Lily and I played with the camera before nap time. I'm trying out different natural light settings on my camera.
